If your trailer is an Airstream, you can find the serial number list on the factory website.
Airstream, Inc :: Serial Numbers
Good luck!

This is a forum for travel trailers and motor homes. You will have better luck finding answers on a forum that is airplane related.

That would be a Spartan made by an aircraft company. Looks like it may have a few miles and years on it.

Spartans originally had really nice birch paneling in them. This one look like early 1950's. They were more of a park model than a travel trailer. Some people think they are worth restoring. If you Google Spartan trailers it will lead you to sites that are more specifically tailored to that brand. Some restorers retain the aluminum look while others like to paint them vivid colors. Neat machine but not an Airstream or an aircraft.

I think this might be a Vagabond instead... the Spartans all had big windows in the front, usually wrapping around the corners a bit. Vagabond had that same rolled-off tail (like an old Flxible bus) but with less wild front windows.

Could those panels in the front have been put in later, covering the wraparound windows? That pronounced front sure makes it look like a spartan, but I don't think it is.... whatever it is I would guess early 50s or late late 40s.
It's very nice indeed, albeit a bit big. The chipping paint makes it looked as if it has a lot of dings, but that's probably just the pictures. I would covet this thing and put it in line right behind my Spartan to restore. It looks like it has most of the original parts and would be absolutely beautiful.
I would strip that paint off first thing!
Any pics of the inside? More of the outside?
Are there any hints on what kind it it? Does it say "Spartan Aircraft Company"?

Very nice. The serial number won't do you much good. No one makes (many) parts so you'll have to restore everything or have it made. Spartan's were the top of the line when they first came out in the mid 40s. The quality dropped as they moved into the 50s but they were still better built than airstreams. That's a very nice trailer, and will be a lot of work...but worth it.
