Great show!
It was wonderful to watch this mystery being solved. We were wishing the old gal was still on the road instead of being a permanent structure though.

That poor trailer. To have survived the Yucatan and then wind up like that?!?!?!!!??
Still cool show. I think the board could have done the research faster.

Missed it, but I'll be setting the alarm for 3:30 tomorrow morning to catch the rerun. (Not at home, so I can't TiVo it)

The '64 GT that was the backdrop at the lake and being pulled by the white Dodge through Denver on the way to the shoot was our very own Fred (47WeeWind) Coldwell, the VAC Historian Extraordinaire!

The presentation of the jacket is more important than a close-up. Wally had the jacket tailored in 1954 and used it frequently. It went to Africa.
Wally's memory and his contributions are sacred to me.

No. I wish I had additional Wally Wear, but I don't. I did find a tailored cowboy shirt.

A recent picture of Dale wearing Wally's jacket. He is getting a 4CU hug from my better half. Taken at the Dead Horse 2 rally this past February.

You know the law. Use a pun and you go to prison.
Would you please post some pics of the helmets?

I just watched it. Awesome job, everybody! Sorry it looks like any interview with Fred got cut. Of course they could have done the whole hour on this topic and I would have been happy
Shari, you totally rocked dating that trailer by it's 7 panel endcap - you are queen trailer geek!

I learned most everything I know from Fred! He must be the "king trailer geek" or the "grand poo-baa trailer geek"!!!
It was a shame his bit was cut...I'm sure he did a terrific job too - just too much info in a very short segment. They had us all do several different parts not knowing how it was going to splice all together ~ heck they were here 2-1/2 days - not to mention the time in CA and at the museum.
