Keith Carradine owns a 34' Classic. It's sitting in our shop right now.

I believe Antsy McClain, leader of the Trailer Park Troubadours, has or had one.

Jame Gumb? Buffalo Bill, from "Silence of the Lambs". Noone else caught that?

Right before Ed Gein too....Michael, I need to have a drink with you; I like your sense of humor.

Could you imagine having Ed Gein's Airstream? I'm sorry, but that would be creepy cool.

And then there is Pamela Anderson of Baywatch fame (amongst other things...). Hugh Hefner gave her a customized Airstream - complete with a stripper pole.

Creepy is remembering Buffalo Bills name from the movie As for owning a serial killers trailer being creepy cool? It is bad enough we have to remove dead mice, squirrels, snakes and live white tailed hornets.

But I did catch most of "Silence" last weekend. Lots of details I missed and a good movie. My brother pointed out to me that "Bill" was playing one of his favorite songs while sewing......

Famous "girl" jockey

This was from a NYT article.

Barbara Jo Rubin ....a woman jockey that won some big races and was not well received by many for it.

Neil Vanderbilt?

I just read that before Mr. Vanderbilt owned an Airstream he was travelling in a Aero flite. StingRay might enjoy knowing that a reporter/writer he was travelling with killed himself in the trailer. Highly collectable!

This picture was copied and should be credited to the Estate of Helen Byamn Schwamborn.

Never mind people using pictures, just give credit due.

The gentleman standing to the right is Andy Charles. The location is Chicago for the Democratic and Replublican Conventions in 1952. From Chicago, Wally and Andy went up shopping for a production site. Guess what? They landed up in Jackson Center, Ohio via Sidney, Ohio.

There is something odd about the height of the man in that photo and the trailer itself. He would not be able to stand up inside. How tall was Andy Charles?

Andy is standing closer to the camera. He was not 10 feet tall, only Wally was 10 feet tall.

The Wally I knew was 15 foot tall... Dale, sure hope we take another road trip together soon. I am now totally addicted to those Mc Donald's Mocha drinks you forced me to drink during our caravan.

Sean Penn, in a 1995 interview, claimed that he lived in a 27-1/2 foot Airstream on 50 acres.
