The Ohio and California factories used different serial number formats and sequences, so the serail number ending in "629" was not the last Safari made in Ohio, although a serial number ending in "630" the first Safari made in California. An Ohio built Safari with a serial number ending in "629" is a distinct possibility. A 1962 Safari with a serial number ending in "729" is reported in the Vintage Airstream Photo Archives:
62Safari
(Similarly, a
1961 Ohio Built Safari with a serial number ending in "539" is also reported and that web site.)

The past VAC Historian did a lot of research into Airstream production numbers. To my knowledge, he still has not found production numbers for early 1960's Ohio built Airstreams. The total number of California built 1962 22-footers (Safaris and Flying Clouds) is 242 and the total number of 1962 California built Airstreams of all lengths is 888.
I have a document that shows that Airstream sold 2460 trailers in the fiscal year ended June 30, 1962, which should approximately be the 1962 model year. That would suggest that the Ohio factory made approximately 1572 trailers in the 1962 model year (2460-888). If we assume they made up the same percentage of total production in Ohio as in California (27%) we can guess that Ohio may have made about 424 22-footers split between Safari's and Flying Clouds. Of course the percentage assumption may not be correct, but I've got no real basis to think Ohio would be significantly different than California. That's the best I can do.
