1949 weewind airstream

Restoring 49,16footer,brake bearings, need advice, are these older brake parts / bearings available near battle creek ,mi.,

And is the ground reversed to positive on the electric brake system. Being pre 1950's vint.

Is this a positive or negatve ground on this electric brake system?

ou will regret going original brakes.

Go with new brakes and backing plates. You can't see the difference and the improved safety and repair capabilities are certainly worth it. I'd get the complete axle and backing plates and brakes at one time...new wheels and tires while your at it.
