All went pretty well with the leather covers. They were stapled over polyester wadding which went over the foam.
Also I fitted a little sink and tap this morning.
I think I'm running out of things to do before I start on the windows.....

One of your favorite peeps here: That leather looks great. And the round dinette will be very nice for meals and socializing. The old windows will be challenging. I can clean them, but I can't overhaul them. I know you can.

Very nice! Kind of looking like a VIP booth at an uptown night club, or disco? hmmm
Ok I have no idea what one of those would look like but does look really cool!! You're a tough act to follow!

Thanks peeps!

We decided against doing the back in leather, bought some cushions and covered them in vintage wooden blanket, something that I wanted to get done before the next Airstream rally. That'll do the job!

Looks great! I do like the mix of materials with a touch of color. Looks like an inviting place to sit and drink a cool one.
Safe Travels!!

Hi! No news actually, no progress.
I haven't lost interest in our Airstreams though, the main job remaining is the window restoration. It may look a bit strange not having a pair of windows in the side but it's super practical to take away camping as is.

I've been distracted by, of all things, vintage Volkswagens! A '64 split panel, '61 Karmann Ghia and a '63 Beetle.
More Airstream news soon I hope.....

Glad to hear you’re still at it, sounds like too many projects. Was there once too, now just try and enjoy! Love this trailer -
