Wine, you say....how about wines.....
My favorite Chardonnay is by Cakebread.....my favorite Savignon Blanc is out of New Zealand, by Babbich. The Babbich can be found at Trader Joe's. The Cakebread at Bev Mo. I would never pour these into a plastic glass...only glass. I think it changes the taste. What fun to be in our Airstream to begin with and even more fun with a favorite wine!! CHEERS!!

He makes great wine and has a fun winery to visit now on the west side of Paso Robles.
I think that's a Cabernet or blend of?

For those who live around the Willamete Valley, there are many fine choices to peruse. We have been wine club members of many local wineries, but our long time favorite for big Italian style reds has to be
https://www.terravinawines.com
If you are in the area and like big reds a stop at their tasting room is highly reccomended.

For commercial wines, my all around choice is a Australian Cab Shiraz blend, good for camping or home.
Wine can get boring sometimes, so I like to find something different to bring camping with me.
A good hard cider is not easy to find and pear cider is even harder.
US hard ciders are still playing catch up with Europe.
Trader Joe's had sold a good french cider, Dan Armor Cuvée Spéciale Cidré Poire. It is a pure pear hard cider, almost like a champagne.
But for my all time favorite (I may be a bit biased here)
is my my home made Cherry Apple Mead.
After one year in the bottle, it has a bit of a kick at 15% alcohol.
It is smooth like a brandy with a slight sweetness remaining from the honey.
For this weekends camping trip, I will have all three with me

NC wines are my favorites. Fruity and a little sweet for me!
I like to support my LOCAL wine makers!
http://yadkinvalleywinecountry.com/w...t.asp?browse=1
My favorite every day wine - Wood Mill Winery - Mon Amour Semi-Sweet
I buy it by the case at my local farmers market.
Honorable mention - Childress Vineyards - Riesling
They are 10 minutes from where I live.
ps:
Many of the mom and pop vineyards allow overnight boondocking. Call ahead!
