Works well in an old '57 Caravanner too!

About a hundred bucks at Amazon. Matches the galley, makes good coffee one Keurig cup at a time.

Have you tried that San Francisco Bay brand coffee for the Keurig? Instead of plastic "tubs" it's basically a regular coffee filter. You have to store them in a Tupperware container to keep them fresh but they taste MUCH better than every plastic Keurig cup I've ever had. Less than $0.50/cup....quite tasty!

I have a mini filter at work I use for the Keurig there. It is convenient but I am in love with my home DeLonghi cappuccino machine. Makes great espresso, etc. Been on the counter for 3 years now.

Tecni-Vorm Moccamaster

We have the Techni-Vorm Moccamaster.
Makes wonderful flavored drip coffee. Peet's Major Dickerson Whole Bean.
The carafe keeps coffee hot till emptied. Has a small footprint. Very light and fun to watch coffee making process.
Available at Williams Sonoma.

I say go old school, compact, stainless steel, classy not trashy! Definitely French press. No piles of trash from single serve cups that don't biodegrade for 400 years. No moldy funk in Keurig. no paper filters, fast, perfect volume for two to share...
Easy to clean, fast, versatile for tea... Mr. Coffee 8-cup French Press from
Target, Walmart and $10 at Bed,Bath & Beyond....

We love the Nespresso Pixie as well. Makes one cup at a time, , small footprint, easily stored, little mess. You do need to buy 'pods' which are smaller than the Keurigs. We order pod 'sleeves' online and they arrive very quickly. Cute coffeemaker that has different colored side panels available. We chose the aluminum - looks like our Airstream.

Rule of thumb, if you think something is cute, and you show it to someone else and they also think it's cute, then it must be cute. Majority rules.
So here's the maritime definition of "cute:"

Useless.

Interesting to add "cute" to coffee maker needs. Not sure if our Chemex meets that criteria, but it is easy to use, clean, and makes excellent coffee.

Chemex 3 Cup Model. Fresh coarse grind. Home, office and trailer. Nothing better period. Ask my wife she's tried them all. Down side she hates to order coffee any more.

Wow! Lots of interesting suggestions that showed some coffee makers I knew nothing about....some really cool ones for sure. We really like coffee makers that don't have any plastic. Based on suggestions here and reviews on Amazon, I'd really like to buy my wife one of those Chemex. They sure aren't cheap! Especially if you buy the matching Chemex cream and sugar, the glass lid, etc. If we didn't already have a couple of French Presses, a few vintage percs and various drips...and had a bigger budget...I'd sure get a Chemex and a stainless thermal French Press. Till I try coffee in a Chemex, the French Press will be the best cup of coffee we've had. I'll ask around and see if someone at Alumalina has one. It would be cool to make some Duncan Donuts coffee in it and do a direct comparison to the French Press and to our 1948 art deco percolator...to see if it would be a future coffee maker for us. We have a new theme/decor in the Caravel for this trip so we'll roll with the 40's art deco perc.

Thanks, G

If you're headed to Alumalina I'll be serving cowboy coffee from a 44 cup coffee boiler. Not small, not cute. Bring your mug.

So, not necessarily in to cute, but...

For the best flavor and probably one of the smallest - Aeropress. Can't beat not only the superior taste but also the incredibly easy cleanup! Makes a French Press obsolete for me.

AeroPress® | AEROBIE® High Performance Sport Toys

But for "style" and maybe for somebodies version of "cute", the Wilfa aluminum drip maker is pretty hard to beat!
