We don’t eat many breakfasts. For when we do, we have a 4 slice camp toaster…. Can be found on Amazon about $11. 45degree rack to hold the toast, place it on a gas burner, or a camp fire.
Folds down to plate size.
Boon docking? No power needed, just a little propane or fire wood. Rick

With an interest in keeping weight down and economizing space, I opted for cast iron frying pan toast.

Heat the pan, butter bread on both sides, "fry" on both sides and enjoy.

For cinnamon (or other flavor toast) I use the gas oven. 😋💙

I use the gas oven. Put the bread in a small cast iron frying pan (dry - no oil) and run it under the grill while keeping an eye on it - careful with the smoke alarm though it is very sensitive.

We have a small two-slice, stainless steel toaster (hard to find a shiny aluminum toaster). We put it on the dinette table when in use and in the overhead locker when not. Don't even think about leaving it out when on the move - it will soon be a small two-slice, severely dented, stainless steel toaster.

We carry a small 2 slice toaster but I'm tempted to get a small toaster oven we used to have and really liked for broiling, etc. Panasonic FlashXpress Toaster Oven with Double Infrared Heating and Removable 9-Inch Inner Baking Tray, 1300W, 4-Slice, White https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00E07D7...Q8S07E4V?psc=1

The problem for me with toasters is two-fold. One, we’d only be using it less than half the time because we’re not plugged in always. Two, it’s another thing get out and put away. I do have such indulgences (like the instant pot) but don’t need or want any more.

We generally toast on the stove using a heat diffuser or on the top rack of the oven by flipping. If the grill is set up outside, we’ll butter up the griddle and toast that way.

Breville Mini Smart Oven works for us!

We had a Breville Mini Smart Oven in the house and liked it so much we got a larger one and repurpose the Mini to the Airstream. It’s compact enough to fit in the lounge storage cabinet and not too big to leave on the counter next to the stovetop. We also use it to warm & crisp up reheats like pizza.

Recently we got an Instant Air Fryer and plan to bring that and see which one we use more. I have made toast in the Air Fryer while cooking bacon too.

By the way, Breville now makes a Smart Oven with Air Fryer so you could have one appliance that does everything.

toaster storage?

A plastic tote that fits in the oven contains toaster and coffee-making equipment!

2 slice toaster lives in the bathroom cabinet. Pop it out, put it on the foldable counter extension, make toast, put it away. Easy!!

Ooooh, I have that Breville at home. Terrific unit, but a bit too big for our 25 footer!

I use the broiler in the oven. Cold bread to burnt cinder in 90 seconds flat. I've learned to pay attention

Janet, you have a real oven. A lot of us have the newer "improved" hybrid stuff. One thing I wish I had from my old Wilderness was the oven and stove....learning to live with what I got in a 2007. Fun thread though for sure!!!!

Ordinary, all-stainless 2-slice pop-up toaster. Works great. No challenges early in the morning. Warm, crispy, buttery toast with jam and coffee.

If I’m not making breakfast outside on the Q1200, then I always use the oven on broil. It takes no time at all to heat up and ready to toast.

Janet is correct, you definitely have to pay attention.

Got mine years ago. The instructions simply say "pay attention" Not often you get a life lesson with your toast. Camp-A-Toaster CT1 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007HRIYDY...JR62HR45QQ795N

I'm on the side of using a small two-slice toaster that is stored in a plastic bin in the locker below my extended couch. The only thing that stays on the counter (when not traveling) is a coffee pot and the paper towel roll. When boon-docking, I use the broiler setting on my propane oven.

We toast our bread by placing it on the bottom of a pan on high heat with no butter. Works perfectly and no need to buy a toaster that occupies too much counter space.
