Costco has a new stainless portable. About $100 Just bought one, solid. Haven't cooked on it yet.

I bought a Camco 5500 Olympian which I really like, but Sams Club has one, probably the same as the Costco, which I might have bought had I seen it first and it's almost half the price of the Camco. Not quite as versatile as the hose is permanently attached and a few other differences, but for around $100, not bad.

I have a Weber Q200. It works very well. I sometimes think the Q100 would have been big enough, but last night I had the entire grill surface covered. Great grill.

I don't think there is any problem rehashing this subject.
Many of the grills mentioned in the original thread are no longer available, like the often mentioned Cobb or the Parker we used to love (I have searched the thread many times!). We just lost our faithful Parker grill to age and corrosion (it does duty on a sailboat in the summer and some critical no-longer-available parts rusted out...). I would have happily kept it going forever otherwise. We now have a Magma Newport for the boat, so far it is fine if a bit small and I have a TEC Cherokee that we may or may not keep for a home back up and for Airstream adventures. If we elect to get rid of the TEC I would probably elect to try one of the Webber Q series...

We carry a Weber Q100 which works great for the two of us. Also carry an external propane tank that can fire up our portable stove at the same time.

We just bought the Volcano Grill. Runs on propane, charcoal or wood. Options include reversible grill/griddle, 12 qt dutch oven and a soft cover to make it work like an oven. You can use it like a traditional BBQ and even use a wok with it. Stores compactly and sets up in seconds. The bottom remains cool so you don't have to worry about scorching the picnic table.

I bought a Kuuma Stow N' Go 160 low pressure Grill, and had a quick connect fitting added to the trailer below the water tank. I can't comment on how great it is, haven't used it yet. - but its pretty! mirror polished stainless finish.

My vote is for the Volcano. Get a charcoal chimney and I don't even take the gas burner. Works great and fires up quickly

That is what I have been using so far as I have no propane tank. It does work quite well. Going to break in the dutch oven this weekend. I have a hankering for some peach cobbler!

Q200 here. Rock solid but a tad on the large side. Probably would get the Q100 for the size and weight. Left the charcoal thing long ago because when we camp in the cold weather the propane grills are less of a hassle. The small propane canisters are easy to pack and much cleaner to deal with. IMHO

We have the new Weber 2200, and I'm just getting used to cooking with it. It works great!
A bit of advice, and I won't go into the gory detail; configuring the Weber to work with the LP port on the newer Airstreams is a waste of time, IMHO.

I used a Q200 off a low pressure tap for years without a problem. Seems to me the Q's regulator would just pass the gas (!) with no need to regulate it. Any how, it worked well for me. YMMV.

I like to have the option of a high flame to start with (if I'm grilling a steak, for example). And I just can't get that with the hookup you're describing.
The Weber I have has a built in thermometer. The low pressure hookup will get the grill to about 400 degrees, BUT the standard Coleman type tank connnection (for which the grill is designed) will get the grill to 600 degrees quickly.
