New forum section!

In response to many requests we have a new subforum dedicated to conversations about food. This area of the forum is not intended to be a recipe archive but rather, an exchange of information on issues that are unique to food preparation and provisioning in an Airstream or while camping. Although recipes that lend themselves to RV and camp cooking would certainly be welcomed, consideration should be given to copyright issues that are unique to recipes.

Please do not post a recipe that you found in print, verbatim. If your recipe is based on one you found in print but you have made some modifications or adapted it to camping, then we ask that you give proper credit to the original work by saying "adapted from," "based on" or "inspired by."

If you have any question about how to properly a attribute a recipe found elsewhere on the web - please just link to it, do NOT copy and paste it here.

Food is a popular topic for Airstreamers and enjoying a good meal with friends around a fire or while listening to the rain on your roof is one of the special pleasures we all treasure.

Bravo! Thanks to all the Mod crew for adding this new forum. I think it will make a wonderful addition to what is already a great site!

Can we make nominations for the best restaurants and signature dishes found while on the road?

Don, other people might be allowed to do that but you would be swatted from Grygla to Houston.

I don't believe that's the intention. I don't know of many roadhouses that people would be able to hit reliably -- except for Chico Hot Springs of course!

oh boy...

just noticed the food stuff is in a NEW section called 'a/s lifestyle'

along with photography and pets...

nice move, but perhaps it should be called 'the air lifestyle' to avoid confusion and trademark issues again...

now can i sell my a/s shaped beer tab and chewing gum reproductions here?

i'm gonna need a vendors account soon.

cheers

Is the chewing gum used??? How do you get it shaped like an Airstream?

Never mind - i don't want to know.

So to answer your question... if you were to get a vendor account, you would have to sell in the vendors forum. sorry...

well you will hafta buy one to find out.

suffice to say, they are made from 100% recycled materials...

the real craftsman secrets are chewing the beer tabs...

and following max around after he eats gum.

cheers

and the reason stella was able to keep her bum in check was...

http://www.airforums.com/forums/f483/pedal-40092.html

"I thought of that while riding my bike." Albert Einstein, on the theory of relativity...

"i have no special talents. i am only passionately curious." also credited to big AL...

"let's go for a bike ride and find something good to eat!"....

come on foodies, ya know bikes is good too, show your support of going green with a pedal power section!

cheers
