Microwave saga

Still waiting to pick up Marvi (28 FC RB)

Ordered her in 2/21 with separate microwave above refrigerator and regular oven.

14 month delay in build and we now have a 2022 model. Cool, but…..

The 2022 has a bigger refrigerator and a separate microwave is not an option in the 28. No one bothered to tell us of the change and our trailer has a regular oven and no microwave.

So my “first world problem” question is: get a small, lightweight microwave or forgo the microwave entirely.

All advice appreciated, especially if you can point me in the direction of a good, lightweight microwave.

Sigh…… lucky to have such a good “problem.”

I would be happy if I could have a bigger fridge/freezer and no microwave in my 23FB. My wife and I rarely use the microwave, but we use the gas oven frequently and more fridge space would be great. Obviously every person has different requirements, but you may find that you don’t miss it.

Some years ago we had a 23’ with a rarely used microwave and a desire for more useful storage space. We solved the problem by changing its name to breadbox.

I know, we were so happy when the 2022’s came with the bigger fridge and separate freezer and the microwave was an option to replace the oven. Easy for us, we were going to remove the microwave anyway.
