We use a 5 qt at home and have a 3qt in the AS....we typically make larger portions for the 2 of us at home. The 3qt is fine for the road and takes less space.

I use both 6 qt and 3 qt at home, 3 qt in the Interstate. Most recipes are written with the 6 qt in mind but it's not hard to adjust when needed.

Thanks, everyone, for all the good comments ... and the "flowers" advisory.

Since it is just the two of us, and smaller portions are part of the 2019 game plan, I went with the three-quart model.

🌲 Happy Christmas! 🌲

Bob,

Do you have the stock 1000w inverter? I've been looking for someone with first-hand experience running the 3q off 1000w.

Thanks!

Hi

I did have the stock inverter and the 3qt ran fine. I now have a larger inverter as well as a much larger battery setup.

Just to be clear, I did not purchase a Ninja; I do have Instapots; 3 qt in the AS and 5 qt at home. Love this unit....many cookbooks to select from also for Instapot.
