While trying to find out where I could purchase some of this beer, I came across a description of the label on a beer aficionado website.
It is described as:
"This particular label depicts an old truck towing one of those space-age rounded camping trailers."
It is quite interesting to see how some people describe an Airstream.

Maybe someone will bring it to the Rocky Mountain Vintage rally next week in Gunnison for the craft beer tasting event.
I am bringing "yard sale" Ale from Lakeside Montana. A "yard sale" in skiing terms is apparently when you wipe out and everything you own is scattered all over the place. Wonder what it tastes like? I have not tried it yet.

The Utah brewer's web site describes its product label thusly, "The Detour label depicts a Vintage International Scout and Airstream Camper heading away from the ‘hustle and bustle’ towards the great outdoors; the type of ‘Detour’ that resonates with the Uinta team and consumers alike." At least they know their target market :-)

Oh my gosh - that is wonderful!! My sibs always bring over Orphan Beer (one or two bottles of whatever craft or microbrew they are currently enjoying) and then we have periodic tasting parties.
I will have to dig around to see if I can find some Detour here in Ohio for the next tasting!
ps - Seemore - Love your Danes!!

We'll be at the fall rally at Kernville-lucky space #451- and will have plenty of cold "Detour". Stop by for a beer or two or three and say hello.

Try some "Cold Smoke" - another skiing term - from Missoula, MT, if you can find it. One of my favorites.
