Eating well

One should eat well when camping. We started with grilled stuffed mushrooms, Cabernet Sauvignon from Robert Craig Winery. The entree was baked potatoe, grilled Porterhouse (medium rare) and broccoli. Of course claire got the filet portion. I had to suffer thru with the sirloin portion. Now that is what I have to call roughing it.

Great looking meal. The wife and I have agreed to split both the NY strip and the Tenderloin, but she gets the bone to chew on. The best "glamping" experiences are paired with great food. Cherish these moments.

Our "big"night meal is either a pork chop or NY strip, baked potato (done over open oak fire), a salad and a cold Mic Ultra. Desert TBA. Drink around the fire.

We always stock up from the local meat market before leaving. Chicken breast stuffed with apple and cranberry dressing and pork chop stuffed with cajun rice.

Boy, all that food looks great, will have to start photographing our creations. Until then, here's an ultimate glamping tool. We received ours recently and used it for the first time tonight. It aerates the wine nicely and it's really fun to use.
