Thanks guys! Of course, you can have one...have two! They're virtual cookies...there's enough for everybody and the calories get lost in cyberspace ~ me on the other hand, I can have only one.

Awesome Cookies Shari!

WOW Great job, did you have a cookie cutter? Make a cookie cutter? Or wing it?

I was going to try and make some today with a dough that included cream cheese, its a great cut out recipe.

What did you use to make the frosting metallic?

What do ya mean you can only have one, its Christmas!!! There are no diets at Christmas!

I have two different cookie cutters - the aluminum (of course!) from Airstream and the copper one from a little shop in Bozeman MT. The Airstream Store still shows them online...would make a nice little stocking stuffer for some of Santa's elves.

I made them silver with Nu Silver Luster Dust - you find it at cake decorating stores or online. You add vodka to it, brush it on then the vodka evaporates & leaves the dust. You can also dry brush it on fondant - I did that for my Airstream cake I made this summer.

Wow!

Wow Sherri - the cookies look beautiful! What can't you do?

We're making cookies today too. Nothing as elaborate are yours. Every year we make gingerbread cookies that we thread red satin ribbons through so that they can be hung. We leave them on our nieghbors' porches on Christmas eve. We'll post images later.

Thank you for the cookies!

Those are fabulous! Thanks so much for sharing. Since you are being generous I will take two... Yum. And in the words of Wendy Woo "and it's gonna be sweet... nothing's sweeter... it's gonna be love..." (Just about anything reminds me of that song, which of course I think of as YOUR song!!!!) Beautiful cookies and beautiful Birdy.

Keep inspiring us Shari!
