Anyone travel with a Nutri Bullet, or a juicer?

I'm considering getting a Nutri Bullet for the trailer, however, we never have ice cubes, and warm smoothies are yucky.

Would get a juicer, but they all seem gigantic.

Would love to hear your experience and suggestions. My goal is to consume more veggies while on the road.

I'm in a 23CB...so, small trailer, not much storage.

They’re great, had one for years, plenty powerful and much more compact than a traditional juicer. They do draw a considerable amount of power so something to consider if boondocking. Cheers

not that big but the very best. Have been using mine for couple of months now . Don't even consider a Nutri Bullet you will be disappointed. They have no power. We also own a Vitamix but again I would consider the Omega Juicer first. When you start using appliances like this you will begin to appreciate the ease of cleaning etc.

I keep our old mini blender in our AS for the occasional desert smoothie when my sweet tooth gets the better of me. If it's ice you're lacking, these countertop ice makers are all the rage with the vintage groups. Ours cranks out a batch of ice every 6 minutes, as long as you keep the water reservoir full...

I have one of those bullet blenders and have used it for 12 years in two Airstreams. Gets the job done, is small and easy to store.

Most juicers are huge, and not as beneficial nutritionally (lots of sugar -no fibre).

Like some of the other posters, I carry my mini blender and drink a lot of healthy smoothies. My favourite on-the-road smoothie is the Eye Opener: Tablespoon OJ concentrate, spring water, carrots and fresh ginger.

What kind of mini blender do you have?

We are bringing our bullet from home for our upcoming 2 week trip.

We typically used bagged frozen fruit to make smoothies, so even if there is little or no ice available this should be sufficient for a smoothie.

Also we use almond milk (available in those shelf-stable boxes that don't need refrigeration until opened), a protein powder, (I like this one-no sweeteners or whey--has chia seeds in it too

You know, I have used it so much that the brand name has worn off.

I believe it is a Hamilton Beach single serve with travel lid.

Yes, the "Eye Opener" is good and keeps me awake on the road too.

Neutral Bullet is in the trailer. Ice can be had at any fast food joint / truck stop on the road. Plan your smoothies around rest stops.

Friends of our travel in their RV full-time and drink (eat?) a smoothie every morning. They make them in advance and freeze them. They've found a reusable container (Talenti gelato) that is just the right size for their portions. They take the container from the freezer and put it in the refrigerator over night and it's just right, slightly frozen, in the morning. A quick shake-shake-shake in the Talenti container and it's slushy and cold!

No need to start up any sort of blender every morning, no cleaning up every day. Just make them once a week or so and clean up once instead of seven times.

Had a NutriBullet blender at home. Was not particularly powerful or well built. The thing that really put me off was the warning to immediately pull the plug if it jammed to prevent quickly burning out the motor. And yeah, it stalled and jammed a lot.

And no, it didn’t make particularly good smoothies. Went to a real blender instead, gave the NutriBullet away. Smoothies are way down on my food option list on the road.
