When you go camping you bring your Cyclo along to fill in down time

...... When you hear the UPS truck coming down the street and you get excited thinking your newest order of Airstream parts have arrived a day early only to be disappointed when he passes your house and stops at the neighbors.

If you instinctively duck when approaching wall and corners
If your TT has groupies
If you disdain square things
If you're obsessed with anything shiny all of the sudden
If you need sunglasses to wash your baby
If you love globetrotters but hate basketball
If you take Bambi hunting with you
If you like Safaris but have never been to Africa
If you've used the words aerodynamic and camper in the same sentence
If your free time is considered AS time
If you own a brand new house but a 40 year old trailer
If you smile whenever you see your camper

When someone in the other room is watching TV and yells "Come look at this Airstream," so you take-off like a racehorse out of the gate to get there, stub your tow on the corner of the coffee table, fall face down and swear. With some degree of agony, you lift the head and swear again because you've just missed the whole thing.

Or, you do catch the last nanosecond of the TV Airstream melting into those Elysian roads, but you won't be hitting the road for a couple of months because you have broken your toe and torn the Achilles tendon of that right driving foot on said coffee table.

You are now squat on the coach like a dead root. This sets off a bigger litany of frustration and swearing because the Airstream was meant to be the conduit for the betterment of mind, body, and soul. A happier, more active lifestyle with lots of fun and relaxation.

If you know what a Cyclo is.

If you know what a torsion axle is.

If you ever heard of an Armstrong Air Conditioner.

If you suddenly have an epiphany that your driveway can hold more than one airstream.......

You are if, you own more than one pneumatic rivet gun, and multiple replacement blades for the rivet shaver, just in case.

- you can't remember the night you lost your virtue -
but you vividly remember the first night in the Airstream

- you're a woman and you'd rather buy gas or something for the AS than a pair of shoes

- you carry a picture of your AS in your wallet -
but none of your significant other

- more people know your Air Forum avatar than your real name

- people think you have been working out at the gym because your upper arms look great, but you've really developed those muscles washing and polishing the AS

- you let your dog out of the AS wearing these -
because you don't want her to scratch the door when she wants back in.

And when she outgrows it, dad won't let her give it away because.....
it's an Airstream.

BTW, your daughter has the right idea; the woman is in the tow vehicle.....
and the guy is riding behind in the trailer!

"Caught in the act"

......When you enter your address into Google maps "street view" there's a picture of you standing in front of your Airstream with a armful of parts that you just received for your Airstream. (true story)

If whenever you're driving, you keep your eyes out for AS's , and sometimes mistake a large propane tank or horse trailer for one.

If you just spent 5 weeks camping in your AS....

When you ask the waitress to give you a window seat so you can check out all the people in the parking lot checking out your airstream and you tell all the patrons around you "yup...she's mine"
