I'm 6'4", but slim. I had a Fleetwood with a tiny shower, and it was miserable. And if you get sick in that, you're in trouble. (I'm planning on fulltiming in it.) Any thoughts on the best model in terms of bathroom size and features? I know it's a weird question, but I'm getting older, and a warm bathroom is getting more important.
We have a 2005 Safari 25FB. We have spent over 900 nights in our Airstream. The bathroom facilities in this model have the toilet and sink in one room, and the shower is separate and across the hall. We have found this to be the ideal set-up. While one person showers, the other still has access to the toilet. The 27Fb also has this arrangement.
We like this bath set-up so well that we will not have another Airstream that is not arranged this way.

You would probably like the Classic split bath floorplan. I like my 28' with rod pocket doors that I close at the galley and the bedroom and the bath becomes one large room with his and her closets and drawers. The heat is ducted right in the area and very warm. Plenty of room to step out of the shower, to dress and to have more than ample knee room and no walls or doors to bump into as in tighter quarters.
But if you are looking for a large shower, check out the Classic 31. The shower and toilet are in the same room but the shower is larger than the Classic 30. I suggest you go to a dealer that has both and see which one works best for you.

Likewise our 28 foot Safari has seperate shower and toilet area. We love the arrangement as we can prop the toilet room door open and make the entire area of the bedroom toilet and shower private and roomy. You can also use the accordian curtain but we think the door is easier.
