We finally brought her home!

We recently traveled to Pennsylvania to pick up our new 2021 Globetrotter 25 and had a great maiden voyage in it back to Washington State. First and foremost, a big thanks to Ansley RV in Duncansville, PA. They were willing to deal back in October of last year, when our local AS dealership felt a 3% drop off of the MSRP was "enough of a break".
We found out our 2017 RAM Laramie Ecodiesel was more than up for the job of pulling the AS back through the winter weather, the passes, the desert and much more. 28 MPG on the way over to PA without the trailer and between 15 and 19 on the way back pulling it.
We also found out that even the threat of a thunder storm (and the potential of hail) can make a veteran behind the wheel sweat a little.
But we love the GT and coming from a 23FB International we are super surprised how much that extra 6" in width makes everything so much more spacious.
Now I have to go pay my WA taxes and get the dealer plate off - which will be a tad bit painful. But getting it hooked back up, gabbing a couple of the grandkids and heading to the National Parks in Utah - will make that go away so, so quickly!
Look forward to seeing more of you on the road in the future and have a great summer - cause we will!
