Virgin Trailer
New owner here.
We picked up our new FC 25FBT on Friday morning and drove it up the road to a state park for a couple of nights. This is my first RV and it was my first time towing. It was a little unnerving leaving the dealer's lot and getting into traffic for the first time, but all of that melted away when we arrived at our campsite and got set up. I made sure to get a pull-through site for a gentler first experience, and full hookups so I could test out all of the systems.
Everything seemed to work well and there's only one or two minor issues that need attention.
This morning we hitched up and headed home. I live on an island, so getting home involves planning around a ferry schedule and the tides. When we pulled up to the ticket booth to pay I said to the agent "This is my first time doing this with a trailer" and as I pulled away she got on the radio to report "Virgin trailer coming your way" to the deckhands.
The family had fun, the weather was unseasonably nice, and the kids didn't break anything so it was an all around success. I think I could get used to this.
Pictures are of the rig while waiting for the campground check-in time, next one is us packed on the ferry, and then of the dog guarding some gear that just arrived from AM Solar and Dragonfly Energy Corp.
