Useless Freezer Juice Rack

For us, the Dometic freezer juice rack is useless. Has any one come up with a bin that will fit in the same door space?

A nifty little ice bin would be ideal.

We keep empty gallon zip-lock bags there until we fill them with ice from our portable ice maker.

A place to store 2 rubber ice cube trays when not making ice.

Thought it was a chilled Gin storage device.

We use it to hold a small un-insulated aluminum water bottle filled with Gin, that way it's always frosty!

There are any number of small, short plastic containers with lids that work very well as an ice bin for these tiny freezers. We originally used a small ice tray and bin made specifically for RVs, but discovered that it takes forever to actually freeze ice and the open bin can let it escape all over the freezer if you hit a bump while traveling. So, closed lid it is!

Bags work too, but I prefer the bin. Try Rubbermaid or Snapware and your measurements in hand when you go looking.

Useless Juice Bin

Gin or Bacon- Brilliant!

Reminds me of an old sailor whose mast was keel stepped- meaning it encroached into the cabin. He sealed the bottom of the mast, added a tap and filled the lower part of the mast with rum.
