Twin versus Queen - Resale

hello all - looking to purchase an AS Flying Cloud and debating twin versus queen. I am not new to RV’s having has several diesel pushers in the past but am downsizing to a 25 or 27’ AS for retirement. It will just be me traveling so thinking twin beds would be nice to have extra space. But wondering on resale/trade value - anyone have words of wisdom regarding this?

IdahoTrvlr, welcome to the Airstream Forums!

Great question! You are spot-on with your observation about the extra space. We had a FC23FB Queen (like a 25’) and once we saw the room you gain in the twin, it made the decision easy. We love the 27’ Globetrotter twin.

The ability to close off the bedroom and change is great too. Plus, twins tend to have more outside storage than queens.

As for popularity, the trend over the past few years has tilted towards more twins according to the dealer we talked to. That says something about their popularity and I would say resale. However, it really comes down to what your future buyer is looking for at the time.

I’d say get the one that works best for you. By the way, the twins are typically wider than half a queen so you get more space than if two people were sharing a queen.

We have twins and think that is the way to go. Let's you actually stand up in the bedroom and they give you more storage.

I don't think it will affect resale at all.
