The Other Flying Cloud

Found this interesting.
The REO Motor Car Company was started in the early 1900's by Ransom Eli Olds after leaving Olds Motor Works. In 1927 they introduced the REO Flying Cloud. Here is a link to an example-the 1934 model:

I believe the first Airstream Flying Cloud model came out in 1950. Wonder if the REO model was an inspiration for the Airstream name?
