Table ideas for AI GT Twin

Greetings!

We're excited about our first summer in our AI GT Twin, aka "Porch Swing."

I think I would really like a table to set up from time to time (or most of the time when camping except for at night when we turn the twins into a queen) between the beds - please share any table ideas.

Also, we have a not-quite-2-year-old Golden/Lab traveling with us - we'd love any ideas and words of wisdom!

Best wishes,
Andyraye

Our AI came with a laminated wooden table (same material as the countertops) that was too large and cumbersome for our needs, so I took off its flanges, and repurposed them along with the original legs to create this sleek perforated aluminum computer table which includes a velcro hold-down strap for the computer. The hardware to attach both the strap and the flanges simply fit through the existing perforations - no drilling required (blog post with sourcing info here):

I also didn't like the fact that the OEM Airstream table was intended to be stored under one of our couches - we need that space for bedding. So I used over-door hardware to hang it on our wet bath door, with a little square of adhesive velcro to keep it from banging around on rough roads:

Oh, and we also still carry this little portable aluminum folding table, as we can take it outside and it's free-standing. We store it (plus other flat items) behind the driver's seat in an artist's portfolio that I bought at Michael's crafts (the national chain store). The table itself is widely available and produced by a couple of different manufacturers, prices in the $30 - $50 range. I bought ours at PPL.
