Starlink in Glacier

We are leaving in a few days for a three week stay in Glacier National Park and seeking information on Starlink connection. We just received our RV Starlink set up and this will be our trial run. Has anyone here used Starlink in the park? The map on their website indicates they have coverage in the park but would love some firsthand knowledge.

Thanks!

I know when we were there a few years ago there was no cell coverage (ATT) at the campground (Apgar). Apgar has a lot of trees. We just got Starlink RV and our trial run will be in a couple weeks in a data desert in Wyoming. How did it work for you?

It worked fine when we were there in Fish Camp in early June.

Just spent 2 weeks in Glacier, and I use ATT. I saw a few Starlink antennas up.
I just got the Weboost RV Stationary kit, while I was up there, but have not installed ye. I believe it will alleviate connection issues in that location (Apgar and others like it) going forward, since I was always able to get 1/2bar. As in the past stays, you can get a 1/2bar in the campground in many of the campsites. Some better than others. You still need to go to the entrance of B and C close to the bike path area for stronger signal to receive/send/ texts, emails, and calls, but still, there are some issues from time to time. Better coverage is in the village behind the hotel by the river but even better is up in the turn out adjacent to the Fish Creek turn off the main road. I also go up there or to the new Ranger Booth (never occupied) on the Polebridge road about 1/3 mile farther up from Fish Creek turn off, if I want to use my computer and park to send/receive important documents on my computer, using my phone hotspot.

Went to Glacier and throughout Wyoming in June with Starlink and had no problems. We did get lucky at the campground about 20 miles east of Glacier and had a site with clear view of the north sky. No cell service but with Starlink we were able to call and text with wifi calling and could stream TV and movies in the evening. It’s a game changer if you like to be out in the middle of nowhere but need to be connected.

I’m sure it will work fine. I haven’t been to Glacier, though everywhere else. Currently in Northern MN, the Starlink works superbly everywhere we have gone.
