Small Airstreams spotted...toy thread
All of these Airstream models are located on my model train layout. I have many more vintage trailer "toys," but have not found them a home on the layout yet.
What strange and unusual Airstream toys have you found?

Here is a vintage toy trailer/car we saw on a group train display in the Adirondacks last Summer on vacation. I am not sure if it is supposed to be an Airstream...but it is shiny silver and has curves in all the right places:

I have seen this Lionel accessory and actually looked at them when they were new. Having grown up in Airstreams, it was appealing, but I never thought I would actually own an Airstream myself, so I passed on it. Besides- I did not like how the trailer wheels and tires look like tractor trailer wheels- so large and burly. However, I have been looking for one for some time to add to my collection. They don't come up for sale very often...and when they do, they command a hefty price. I guess it is kind of like Disney train items...they draw fierce collecting competition from two different and passionate groups.

I made fun when the DW bought a Disney 8773 15 car boxed set at a show years ago, she continued getting every Lionel Disney she could, I never laughed at her choices again.
As in the 1957 "Girl's Set" she got me for Christmas.
