Rude Awakening

We are doing renovations and have placed a recliner and ottoman in the trailer for evaluation purposes. I've been going there in the cool evening darkness with all windows open to relax and listen to jazz on the radio. While doing so last night I dozed off, only to be awakened by what I thought was our dog jumping on my lap. I yelled out her name and the startled animal quickly jumped off me and dashed to the back of the darkened trailer. The first thing I thought was how did the dog get in here since I did not hear the door open? I called her name several times, but no response from the back of the trailer. As I regained full consciousness, I realized that it was not a 45lb. dog that jumped on me but some much smaller animal. I then realized I left the cargo hatches at the back open, and since all beds, drawers, and subfloor were removed from the sleeping area, that is how the animal got in and escaped. I looked out the screen door, and there was the neighbour's black & white cat sitting there staring back at me. I guess an Airstream and a human lap on a recliner looks very inviting to a curious cat!
