Good lord, how did I forget:

And if I forgot to mention earlier, bug spray. Lots of it.

Best road trip in the bullet...

My two must haves: my dear Jack Russell Terrier, Lulu and a portable radio. No other technology! We camped our way to Jackson Center and back, listened to the World Series, and avoided the super slab. Met the nicest people, in the smallest towns, and slept like a teenager.

I wish I had all of that come with my trailer, m.hony.

Unfortunately, I have no sound system, no water filter, and no chairs. Got to work on this. The main reason I want the filter is not for drinking but the keep the water lines from getting gunked up with mineral deposits. I replumbed the whole thing and want to keep it nice and clean.
I carry a hand axe and long handled axe, just because.
I use my iPhone or iPad to play music via my two Bluetooth speakers.
Good luck with the other items.

Pistachios. I really like pistachios at the campfire at night.
You know whitetail deer like pistachios too ? I didn't know that. These were not California deer either. I found out down at Hunting Island SP, SC a couple years ago.
They didn't get my muscadine wine
Life is way to short to waste time on drinking bad wine.
Have a good one !

The book is better. Even if the trailer in the book is only a 28-footer.

Lots if good ideas here, my list is growing.

My 12 yo son Adrian and his good buddy have joined me for a week or so trip in central Ca. His mom sent along this Poo Pourri. I wasn't sure if it was just a play on the bathroom humor that boys that age love so much or a hint to me.
But at any rate it is quite a good product and particularly nice in the confines of an RV.
One shot on the loo before use and no one needs to share your essence, just the scent of citrius form Poo Pourri. :-)

Cheers Richard
