Free speech may be exactly the thing to consider... Free speech has qualifiers in the USA - specifically the venue. While an individual may have the right to say most anything -
where they have the right to say it is important.
Privately owned spaces and those where you are a guest may have restrictions.
As an example:
- you can't reasonably expect to go into a restaurant to tell folks how great the bistro down the block is - you will surely be ejected by the owner.
- You can't reasonably expect to go into a church during services, and standup to tell members they should try the other flavor down the street.
- You can't reasonably expect to come to AIR forums and post about non-rv related politics or gun rights.
All these venues are privately owned and guests must follow the rules laid out by the venue operator if they wish to remain. Same goes for most campgrounds.
If you are bothered - tell the management, vote with your $$$
Parks prohibit all sorts of things so that other campers are not impacted. Those things often include amplified music, late night noise, alcohol and dogs. We accept these limitations... I'm sure that parks with rules like these developed them after complaints
Now - as this thread has already, in 3 posts wandered off the rails (as proscribed by AIR forums rules about political topics), it's being closed. Thanks for understanding.
