Smile new to the lifestyle

Hi Guys,
Jack & Jill here. We are both in our mid 50's and retired. We are currently living in NJ, and in NY. We have always wanted to tour the country, and so we purchased a 2019 Airstream Bambi 16'.

We are total neophytes, and would really appreciate any type of tips, suggestions, and advise on using it. Especially which type of vehicle would be best to pull it, and why. The pros & cons of getting an SUV ( Jeep Grand Cherokee) vs a small sized pick up truck.

Thanks in advance everyone!!

Hello J&J, greetings from Kentucky and welcome to the forum. Congratulations on the new AS acquisition.

There are a TON of threads here on tow vehicles (TV). Just use the Airforums blue search box just above to search our forum. You can also search for various lists, like what to bring, arrival and departure lists. Just search and see what you can find. There is a treasure trove of information. Also note which forum you find these things in and you'll probably find other posts in the same thread that are similar.

I happily towed a 20' with a Mercedes ML500 and a 25' with a Dodge Durango. I would go with something like that because it makes for a better daily driver when not towing. YMMV. And you'll do doubt get all kinds of opinions here.

Welcome to the forums and the Airstream world.
