New to me 23D

Just thought I would introduce myself to the group. I've been lurking for a while now. Finally found a 2011 23D and bought it yesterday. Camped in my driveway last night. I have to say, I LOVE this trailer! And thank you to all the members who have given me advice without knowing it! This forum is a wealth of information and was a big help when I was looking for an AS.

Congratulations on your new 23D! We hope that you love it as much as we love our "Fortune Cookie!" We find the 23D is a perfect "fit" for our style of camping and our activities (or, even our lazy lack of activities )

I picked out the 23D in October of 2015. It is the perfect size! Looking forward to the winter months again...in Florida. If I had a one item to add, it would be solar and Fantastic Fan covers to stop the closures in high humidity and the rain. But, is all good and gives me great deal of pleasure.

Thanks everyone!

And thanks for the compliments on the house as well. It's a 1936 streamline art deco house. Lots of chrome and industrial look, clean lines, etc - which is why I like the AS soooooo much!

There are three 23s ..... a 23D has the bed in the back. a 23D bunk has a bed added above the rear bed. a 23FB has the bed in the front. The D model has a bit heavier tongue weight, a smaller bath, a sofa in addition to the dinette and a 7 cu ft frig. The FB model has a double sink, a larger toilet and shower area, a dinette, and a 5 cu ft frig. Really nice rigs. Pat

I see that you live in Bandera. Texas... when we sold our Casita, a great couple from Bandera bought it. We hope that they are loving it!

I would love to offer courtesy parking. The part that you can't tell in the pictures is that it's fairly tight to get the rig into my driveway to begin with. My driveway was one of the limiting factors on only getting a 23-footer! The driveway is long and wide, but the street in front is not, which limits your ability to maneuver and get perpendicular to the street. But yes, if you can fit it in my driveway, then you're welcome to overnight here. I'll edit my profile later today.
