NASA Mobile Quarantine Facility - Autographed

For those interested in NASA and Airstream cross collectables the classic picture with Nixon outside and astronauts inside the facility, autographed by Buzz Aldrin, is available on Buzz Aldrin's website Road to Apollo 50.

I would order to put in my 1962, but the price of $599 is a little beyond my budget and I need a new water heater.

There are a couple of threads in the forums regarding the quarantine facility and lots of documents on the internet. If you are on this forum and find yourself in Huntsville area, make sure and stop at the Space & Rocker center to see the quarantine facility on display. I was there in January of 2017. In addition to the Airstream, there are a couple of other interesting exhibits there as well. Worth the time to visit.

Reprints of the photo are quiet common and normally under $50 so you need to be an avid collect to justify the extra $550 for Buzz Aldrin's signature.

There is a "campground" right at the rocket center. There is also a nice state park (Monte Sano) just on top of the mountain (we stay there all time).
