This is what we do as well. We clean it out and winterize in our driveway, then we tow it a few miles away to a storage location. For that, these little doohickeys are great!

We got tired of the less than cheap plastic catches for doors and drawers failing or breaking, so replaced those with these metal catches.

We leave the fridge doors open when parked in the storage facility in Apache Junction, AZ. We also leave filled five gallon buckets of water inside to keep the humidity level up to protect the Hickory wood in the Classic and even the plywood under the formica in the 23D International Serenity. The 110+ temps in the dry summer air does dry everything out....
