Following.. and seen a few out there and how fun !
For years dreamed of doing same in our 25ft Intl CCD while now set up for mostly traveling gives little space to do so.
Having more space, could have more of everything or could tuck away but easily brought out/moved around keeping flexible space for tracking, VO or mixing options.
If rig dedicated for mainly studio work, Start with a short list of minimums (budget permitting) to build around.
-Laptop with Pro DAW of choice
-Multichannel Digital interface or USB mixer (class A mic pres?)
-Self powered monitors or a separate amp
-Studio headphones
-Mic /XLR snake/breakout box 75-100ft
-Mic case w/assorted industry standards, stereo condensers, large diaphragms, vocal mics and lavalieres. Stands, pop filters, wireless interfaces.
-Various heavy duty Ext cords and surge-battery ups for protecting gear.
Size of work surfaces, orientation of mixer /daw / monitor placement think facing either end of trailer (with pop-up flat screen?) Light Auralex foam acoustic treatment to minimize reflections. If bed, fridge, oven, closets gone = more options for flexible bench seating/under storage or folding chairs for facing monitors/screen.
Adding curtains could separate areas while adding isolation/ absorbsion benefits.
Overall, keeping a flexible inspiring space blending key areas like mixing/production, lounge/tracking could be had with some creativity as every studio starts as a box. 📦
Best of luck on your audio quest !
