Maintaining Exterior Finish

New 2012 25' FC owner and am curious what to use when washing and or waxing the AS. Unlike older models as you folks are aware of the 2012 has a clear coat over the exterior do you wash and wax as you would an automobile using auto soaps/wax or specialized RV soaps ? Soft bristle brush ? Do you use a buffing wheel to apply the wax or just hand rub it with towels.

Thanks for your time !

Wash and wax as you would a car. Use the same "made for auto" type products.
I hand wash, hand dry and hand wax.

I wash with a auto hose end mop with clear water several times a year...whenever it needs it. Wipe down with a chamois and address any stuck "stuff" spots with a wet rag as I run across it.

It gets detailed once a year and polished at that time. Just finished it yesterday!

I use this polish. Goes on and OFF easily. It is sold at the AS store as well. It really does last a year and has a UV protectant in it. Pricey, but I have proven to myself that it lasts, stored outside, for a year....and I don't want to wax a 30'er more than once a year.

Yes, the first one at the top of the page in the link I sent. The aircraft is exactly the same stuff...just labeled and marketed to a different crowd, per a phone call to them.

The black label with the red street rod on it.
