I always thought the 50's/60's spike clock would be appropriate for an Airstream trailer.

I googled “starburst wall clock” and got all sorts of hits - the Amazon retro clocks are similar in look & style and about $150-200 cheaper... . Also have the atomic-look designs... I dunno, spending $100-300 for a wall clock to hang in the Airstream seems a bit... silly IMHO...

You could stop in at a few craft fairs on your travels. Support a local artist and find something truly unique.

Still have a working 70's 'spike' clock, but it's too big for the AS. Had to put a new mechanism in it years ago.

Well you got me exploring a bit. I'm actually in the market to buy a clock too!

I did some searching and found these clocks. Check them out:

We have a winner here! I know its a subjective deal, but this one really works for me. But my prime spot is occupied by a favorite painting, no spot for such a large clock.

Cheers Richard

Maybe it worked this time. It's so difficult for me to figure out how to attach a photo.

Found this inexpensive clock and it works with the theme. There will be a counter along the side with a washer and a dryer under it.

Try searching at Etsy.com, they have quite a few 50-60s style clocks, some expensive, some not, different sizes.

How about a little bit of neon along with your tow vehicle's manufacturer logo?

Details about how we mounted this clock and the names of each of the dim sum hour pieces and more is seen in my November 15, 2009 article, "Desert delights", History Safari Express.

Ok, that clock would work well around this household of dim sum fanatics!
