How to unload an Airstream from a transport!

I've never in all my travels have actually seen Airstreams being transported to a dealer. At a recent visit to a dealer I was delighted to see a tractor trailer pull up from JC delivering two trailers.

I see that they have a dolly wheel on the tongue jack. Our trailer was towed to the dealer.

yep, our 23fb was delivered from SAC to PDX same exact way, door to door, very clever.

I stopped to take this picture a couple years ago and the driver flagged me down as it was cold and his truck would not start. He had jumper cables and ether, so I helped him get it started.

The transport trailer had a channel in the middle that kept the AS tongue centered for loading and unloading.

Tandem axle truck...even with air ride would be a rough ride...
