We did have a popup and my older kids named it "Ghetto." They so much loved camping in that as older teens...lol.

We named our AS "Pinni" and our TV "Nickles", after Pinnacles National Park. Our first outing with them and our favorite place for a short weekend outing.

We have a cabin named after our Italian Greyhound---"Lazy Gray Lodge."
So it made sense to us to call our Airstream "Lazy Gray II."

Rather than a name, ours has more of a description.....'Line camp'. Sent in a registration request with that as a name name 3 months ago but never heard from Airstream.

We call ours 'The Hoot' because that's what kind of time we'll have when it done. Actually it's been a hoot working on it....well most of the time.

You had to ask THAT question!
I had 3 Airstream products.
1st was YELO SUB, I think you will figure out why...

My second was another 77 Argosy, and because of its condition the only names I called it cant be typed without censorship.
My third and final Airstream is named ZO

The reason for that is because I started playing movies at festivals on the side of my Motorhome and one that had the best reviews was my own mix of The Wizard Of Oz with Pink Floyd Dark Side Of The Moon.
They began calling me the Wizard and I came up with this logo:

My husband and I are body painters and I wanted to "tattoo" our '72 Safari with some paintings. I called her the Tattooed Lady and then my husband said, "Like Lydia? so she's Lydia and our tow vehicle is Groucho.

We call ours the toaster 'cause it looks like the old style chrome toasters from the '50s.

I named my 1976 31' sagging rear end Airstream "Aunt Bea" after the Beatrice Foods ownership of Airstream at that time.

Lol, ours (for the present, anyway) is Jinglehaus, after our Chiweenie. Would be nice to come up with something more elegant for "official," tho.

We made a half-hearted attempt to name our rig, but it didn't really "take". Then we vaulted a set of solar panels above our roof-mounted a/c unit, and now strangers pretty much universally refer to our rig as "the storm chaser" because that's what it sort of resembles. So I've come to think of it as "Storm Chaser".

And there's a metaphorical component to that name as well, because some people have the opinion that I am an unusually stubborn person. I have a tendency to not just face conflicts, but rather to run toward them. A storm chaser, in other words. My husband is the same way. He does not back down.

The "Sam" part of Wayne&Sam is a fly fishing guide and casting instructor. Our trips involve fly fishing for her and bicycling for me. "The BicycleStream" didn't work. "The TroutStream" made much more sense.

Not everyone names their cars and hence I suspect not everyone names their trailers. It should resonate with you and should roll off your tongue. I name after a character either in a book or a person in our lives. Our trailer is Lily, who helped set my career in motion and in many ways because of her we can have such a wonderful trailer to see the US.

How Did Everyone Come Up With Names For Their Trailer

Ours had a history that has to do with the Eagles and Hotel California, so we decided to call her The Hotel California. It has lots of pieces in it that have to do with this as well for the theme.

Nothing fancy, just a composite of our mother's names as a way of remembrance.

Our Airstream was named by our then a little over 3 year old grandson on the first day he saw it in late 2013. We name pretty much everything around here, so I asked him what we should name the Airstream on the first night he spent in it, and without hesitation he said "How about Pete?".

He was into the new gen cartoon version of The Mickey Mouse Clubhouse at the time, and Pete is the modern version of Pirate or Peg-leg Pete from the classic Disney cartoons......... always causing trouble for Mickey and the gang.......... Luckily our Pete doesn't cause much trouble.

His name stuck, and our coach has been and will always be "Pete". In fact, both our grands (now 6+ and 3+, who camp with us frequently), and all the rest of the family only refer to him as Pete. Actually, ANY Airstream is "a Pete" when the Grands see it........but he is "our Pete".......

Oh, and I added the Shiny part of our AF handle, "Shiny Pete", because I think when I registered, most forms of Pete were taken....
