I hope this message fins you all well. I am new to this forum.
My home was recenetly damaged by a large water leak. My insurance company is willing to give me an allowance to move into a home or rent a trailer for 5-6 months. I have been interested in Airstreams for a while, but haven't owned or stayed in one before.
What I am looking for is a situation where I can rent to own. The rent for the first 5-6 months (~$30k) would go towards the purchase price at the end. If we decied that the Airstream life isn't for my family's future, then you keep the rent and take the unit back. My ultimate budget is under $75k and it would have to pass the test of my wife's standards
and 2 kids living in it for that period of time. We live in Southern California.
