First Outing

After 3 months of being an AS owner, we are going to try it out this weekend. We have been cleaning and trying to determine just what (if anything) does need to be repaired. We have electricity (but not all lights work). Still need to check out the A/C, stove, water heater and holding tanks. Our friends are long time campers and he is a very handy fellow, so everything will get checked (and possibly fixed) while we are there. Had to replace the front couch - found a nice futon which fits in just beautifuly. Got a new mattress for the double. We think we're ready! Will let you know how it went.

Hope things go well and that you're able to report back to us on a successful trip.

Have a GREAT time. I suspect you've already checked the tire condition and pressures, but that's the thing that may "get you" on the road. Most everything else can be dealt without endangerment.

Good luck! You must be so excited to go out for your first trip! Don't worry, if something happens, just take a break and eat some smores...they make everything better
