This coffee in the tin is what I Roast in my Voltair Roasters ( explanes my Tag Name) Twice a day to keep going I do a 6 secound ritual using only warm water in a small glass with this double shot strength tiny dob off the wonderous substance! Throw it back and you levetate through it all.
Seems it will last indefinitely but time will tell since I only built this process up during our first and only cv19 lockdown March 2020 and makes for agood ointment against cuts ect.. Aswell.
As Lary and others have described accurately it has no creama because no volatiles and so a very mello palatable tast. Might do a cardamon version or cinnamon n honey version :}

More Volume, Less Fuss
For many years, we've enjoyed our 7 to 8 Cafe Americanos from our superautomatic espresso machine at home. When we purchased our Airstream in April, carrying on that daily routine on the road was a must! We purchased a Gaggia Brera. Add water, add beans, push the button and voila...outstanding coffee! Love it!

We have the Miela CM6350 at home ( that produces fantastic espresso, lattes and more) and the Nespresso for the AS. Not quite the same quality but the Nespresso travels much better. And I'm certainly too lazy to go through the 3-4 minute process 2 or 3 time every morning but I'm sure Flair Espresso Press taste better than our Nespresso.

The Flair seems like an elegant solution for us. If you had posted this a couple of weeks ago I would have put it on my gift list : )
BTW the REI flagship store here in Seattle has a “coffee shop” that is just a converted VW camper van parked in the middle of the store. All of their coffee drinks are made with tools that can be packed in a backpack - aeropress, camp kettle etc.
Any suggestions on heating/steaming milk?

For milk this is the way we do it:

I have a cheaper espresso machine but I can't get it to taste right. The touch looks like it does it all for you.

I agree that real espresso is appealing but I am far too lazy to go through the whole process while camping, even at home for that matter. Nespresso is so darned convenient and, frankly, better than Starbucks. If I need to upgrade my espresso a bit, I just add some Jameson....

Espresso on the road
Heating milk options were not informative. Automatic espresso machines are heavy and maybe not practical for trailering. Most coffee snobs are in agreement that pods do not meet the quality brew of fresh ground.
Thus there are lots of options with various portable handheld espresso makers. Semi-automatic espresso machines require some expertise with frothing wand and semi-automatic machines are heavy, cumbersome, and may not be practical either.
There are a variety of portable automatic milk frothing options. The Nespresso milk frothers provide ease of use and provide decent frothed milk without skill required if using fresh milk. They are easy to clean and portable. There are also numerous portable whisk options that are fairly easy to use and provide decent results. The only knock is that the steamed milk is not as hot as high steam boilers in quality espresso machines.
Another option is the stovetop frothers used for decades by coffee purists. They are small and portable and require less technique than a steam wand on a high-quality espresso machine. These stainless steel stovetop milk frothers can be found as low as $10 and maybe another option. Since we already have propane cooktops maybe should not be overlooked, if seeking small portable milk frothing options with small portable espresso makers.

Wow! what patience you possess
We use a small electric Kurig , makes one , very nice, cup of expresso, at a time. We use ground coffee from La Cartera (Miami Chain of restaurants) Coffee sold on-line
The other 6 or so cups I drink during the day are made on a kurig pod coffee maker, Strong dark roast arabica.
I refuse to buy prepared coffee anymore. It just infuriates me to pay for swill that tastes terrible

An Nespresso Pixie works just fine if on shore power. I also have battery based portable Nespresso compatible model for boondocking.

Very nice! I chose the Breville Bambino simply because it’s small... and electric. 😁

espresso
We boondock a lot and after trying many methods, we are very satisfied with the Aeropress. I do have a hand grinder that gives you a workout but cranks out a good grind once you get the right setting.
The Flair looks good but seems to require a lot of preparation

Looks complicated
I use a little stainless steel espresso percolator. Small and less complicated, its a mini pressure cooker on the bottom that forces the hot water through the grounds. 100ml.

Decided to go with a Jura E6. We added a dresser behind the dinette and have our ice maker on it and think the Jura will fit there as well. Of course it will stay in the house except for long camping trips. For short ones a French press and our rechargeable nespresso machine will suffice.
