It is a ski shop that they are taking to all different resorts for advertising purposes! Has the opening rear end- must be a pretty impressive rig with the 450 pulling it!!!

That is the Panamerican not the Eddie Bauer...Sorry!
Yes the trailer is sponsored by Eddie Bauer, who is closing 1/3 of their stores across the nation due to the fact they a broke! Seams silly Airstream would even consider an "Eddie Bauer" edition!

Yes you are right, I was saying it's and Eddie Bauer done up airstream. not an Eddie Bauer addition. It's kinda obvious it's a panamerican with the tripple axels and the rear door...

Ski Bumming in an A/S

This very unit was written up in recent AIRSTREAM LIFE MAGAZINE. Two pro-ski racing brothers use on their tour and to promote products supplied by their sponsors (including Edie Bauer) as I recall.

What direct connection A/S has with them I don't know. Probably none, but it's an interesting application and environment for our favorite TT!

It would be nice to see Eddie Bauer get back to it's roots. From it's beginnings in the 20's? to the early 80's they were pretty much what North Face/Mountain Hardware/Marmot etc. are today, maybe even better. Heck I still have some 35/40 year old coats and vests. Much like the old LL Bean. Bauer sold the co. to General Mills in the late /60's, they in turn gradually tried to turn them into more of a mass market store (selling naming rights to Ford too). In 1988 GM sold EB to Speigel, they in turn failed and went into bankruptcy. A holding co. was then formed (EBH) which is also now in bankruptcy. A bit of a shame as I believe they were going to try to get it back to it's roots to some degree. However, while there are some decent things to be had clothing wise at Eddie Bauer, it is a shell of it's former self. I don't know, maybe it's time to let them name die and not cheapen it any more! Although I doubt that will happen.

I watched a video on this unit a while back (check you tube) it's pretty cool. Looks neat in the photos with the snow and such. Don't know if I would want to drive it through the mountains in the snow though!
