Thank you, Andy, and the same to you and all Forums readers.
We will be doing ham. Turkey is only for Thanksgiving.
Kiddies and grands will be here in their Easter finery.
Maggie.

Maggie.
We should be giving thanks, everyday that we are on the right side of the grass.
Therefore each day is a "thanks giving".
So.......turkey is on the menu, often.
And besides, it's good for us.

Happy Easter to all... I wish turkey or ham was on the menu. My in laws don't like to follow tradition. They think chili is a good meal for this Easter. I am astounded, but the next holiday is at my parents and tradition runs strong there...

Andy,
Same to you! Hope all is well on your side of the country.
Frank, when I come to see you I'll bring ya a country ham biscuit from the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.
Went to the sunrise service at "Old Chapel" which is the oldest Episcopal Church west of the Blue Ridge Mountians. It's a church very dear to my families heart. My wife and I got married there 16 years ago and my daughter was baptized there at three months old on Easter 11 years ago. This morning the "Shape Note Singers" sang which is a site to see.
Old Chapel
God Bless to the men and women who keep us save and thank you for your service to our country.
Enjoy,

Happy Easter! Gods blessings to all.
Porkchops today. Usually it's turkey, but I wasn't organized enough this year to get one, and have absolutely NO idea who will be here for dinner other than the 2 of us, 2 dogs and 2 cats. The wild bunny-wunnies in the yard get cob corn.
