Camping in Chinle, AZ

We're planning a trip this summer to included the Navajo Reservation near Chinle, AZ.

I was wondering if anyone had stayed in this area and if so what is available in terms of campsites.

Any information is much appreciated.

Check out the Canyon De Chelly - Cottonwood Campground. It is a National Monument so no electric/hook-ups, central water/dump station/toilet, but has 93 non-reservable RV sites/$14 a night (cash only). It is the closest location. Call Navajo Parks and Recreation Department at 928-674-2106.
