Not sure if you got my earlier thank you but I had a question about installing the fan in the bedroom above the TV of an airstream international can I put a plug on the power cord of the fan and plug it directly into the 12 V DC inverter outlet by the TV . I’m a pretty good Carpenter but a poor electrician looking for a simple way to power this awesome fan and get some air movement in the bedroom . thanks again for a great video and any help you can offer ...better boat

West Marine carries a small 12v wall mounted fan for the boating world that works great in an RV of any type. I mounted it on the wall of the sleeping area ( near the 12v) plug. Easy to run the wire and tap into the 12v plug wires. Works great, quiet, rotatable on a gimble mount, has 3 speeds and a timer. Not cheap (think boat) but a great and often used addition.

Check their website it's called Sirocco II.

We don't have A/C in our vintage trailer - nor do we want/need it. We just use our Fantastic Fans mounted in the ceiling. One blowing "in" & one blowing "out" usually does the trick It keeps the air moving nicely. Mind you, we live & travel mostly in cooler climate areas....we rarely miss A/C with all our windows & the Fantastic Fans...we just don't go to Arizona in the summer!

Also with a smaller trailer - we don't like to carry every "extra" we can think of...now when we go full-time in a couple of years, our approach will change I'm sure.

I carry two small fans. One sits on the corner cabinet and plugs into the outlet by the TV.
More often used is a small clip fan that's powered from a USB port and I clip it to the magazine rack. It's super quiet and has a switch on the motor, so I keep it plugged in.

+1 for Caframo Sirocco II already mentioned. Easily mounted to overhead cabinet in bedroom of our Sport 22. Tied into a 12 volt wire running to the under-cabinet light there. Draws 0.4 amps. They are occasionally on sale at West Marine. We will probably install another one in the future. I was inspired by this thread https://www.airforums.com/forums/f44...ns-209146.html and Thiel's YouTube video previously mentioned.

This may be a bit off-topic since the OP asked about interior fans, but I'll add that based on a suggestion from another ASer, we recently brought one of our household fans to use outside under the awning. It's a Vornado model 630. Runs on 120v and draws 0.5 amp. It is compact (for a household fan), quiet and moves a lot of air for it's size. We mostly camp in the southeast, and it was nice to have along. Now I want to buy another one to keep in the trailer all the time. Note: this fan is meant for interior use only, as most 120v fans are, and too big for the interior of our trailer. But it stows easily under the bed. There's a risk of using such a fan outside, mitigated somewhat by the GFCI circuit breaker.

I got to try out our two new Caframo Sirocco II fans last week. I'm very pleased with them.

OK...I know it's ugly, but I already had the Batt's,20v 6ah(also runs on AC).
The speed is rheostat controlled and it lasted 3 days on the lowest setting.👍

We always carry a fan as my wife can't sleep without the air and noise. After experimenting with many types, we found this USB powered 8" OPOLAR fan sold on Amazon that works great:

Just the right size, multiple speeds, quiet, and not terribly expensive like some of the other options.

Like this one. A bit smaller. Also USB. We have his and hers on the nightstand.
I have one at home and at work at my desk. Fits in the nightstand drawer.

I have always used a small I think 10 inch fan during the warmer months and a small heater for the colder nights. The fan helps the only one AC we have in our 25FB.

We mounted ours up high

Ran 12 volt around shower and up the wall. Fan works great on DC.

We purchased a Ryobi fan from Home Depot, it runs on any of their 18 volt rechargeable batteries or it can be plugged into shore power. It works great if you need air circulation and do not want to run a larger fan.
