Best mobile service for streaming

Trying to figure out what is the best mobile service provider out there for speed and coverage.

Verizon hands down. No contest for coverage. I have a mifi unlimited plan and hit the 10 gig throttling every month. Netflix still works just fine after throttling, albeit not at full resolution.

I run both Verizon and AT&T LTE mobile data services in my trailer. I agree that Verizon tends to have better coverage. 10G data cap bites though

With AT&T I do get uncapped streaming of DIRECTV content and now Time Warner content. So that’s cool.

AT&T by a very wide margin . Full unlimited streaming in locations you can't even get a Verizon phone to show any signal at all. Many sites, lots of data to show it.

So - confused?

It's regional. In the far west, you get one answer. In the east ... there is a different obvious answer to the question.

Yes, coverage depends on area.

The AT&T/DirectTV deal is very sweet. What you stream on DirectTV doesn’t count towards your data cap. I had it for a while and I loved it.

Unfortunately where I keep my Airstream AT&T has almost no signal. So I switched to Verizon. Now at least I can talk. But even with their “unlimited” plans, 25GB/75GB goes by quick. I kept my DirectTV Now subscription though. That’s how I watch TV at home. But I avoid streaming over cellular because unless you have something like AT&T/DirectTV, data caps are going to get you.

So I download movies and tv shows to my iPad at home and watch in the Airstream using Apple TV.

We use Verizon. Best in the Southwest from all that we tried. They recently went to a 3-tier 'unlimited' system, and which tier you are on makes a huge difference in limits before throttling, which they call 'network deprioritization.'

I replaced my Sport 22 TV with a Samsung from Costco so that I can seamlessly screen mirror from my Samsung Galaxy 9+ phone to the TV. Basically, I stream on my phone and 'mirror' this onto the TV.

The benefit to that is that limits for phone use are a lot higher than mobile hotspot limits.

Obviously the best idea is to download whatever we plan to watch while we're on WiFi but if not, having the option to mirror keeps me from getting throttled.

I'm using an iPhone 8 plus with the Verizon "Beyond Unlimited" plan, which is marketing hype to say we give you 22GB a month data, but start throttling at 15GB. What part of "unlimited" am I not understanding?
I use my Hotspot for Internet access and video streaming, as "free" campground Wi-Fi is usually slower than walking.
An average Amazon movie stream is about 4.6GB, so can only watch a few movies before throttling. The throttle is good for daily email and this board, not much else.
Still less expensive and faster than HughesNet or Exede.

I use Verizon unlimited with the apple adapter to stream from my phone with an hdmi cord. Since it's not tethered I steam all I want, no data restrictions.
