Best example thread (with pics) of a black/grey tank upgrade in a vintage Airstream

We have a 64 28' Ambassador and wondering if someone has paved the way before us...

I'm in the middle of a bathroom remodel & decided to replace the original black tank, and add a grey water tank(s) as well.

Has anyone done this on an Ambassador and documented with photos? If not, maybe someone has documented their project with a similar model?

Any others that have documented theirs?

Vintage trailer plumbing

If you're doing a rear bath, my piece may give you a few ideas.

We've dealt with this twice...
1) during a total renovation of our '56 Safari we added new black & gray tanks from scratch - our "park model" trailer had no tanks (starting about post #156 and continuing on throughout the thread)
2) repair of our '64 GlobeTrotter toilet/tank/plumbing system (no new tanks - but cleaned up/rebuilt what we had)
Neither of these are a "perfect match" to your project - but they may help you come up with a plan...

Impressive Shari! Thank you. I'll give this a study as well.
