Make sure to get what is called short queen size If you have a queen bed. They fit so much better. You won't spend a lot of time messing with the sheets in the AM. That does limit choices though. AS sells sheets as does camping world we got ours at camping world and they are mid level quality but fit nicely. We use four pillows used the set pillow cases on two and bought high quality cases for the ones we use for our heads.

Hello Hikehappy

I have the AB Lifestyles sheets. They are high quality and a good buy for the money, and are available cut to fit some of the odd sized and shaped beds. I recommend them, especially if you have twin beds or anything with a curved section to fit a corner.

If you are buying sheets for a "queen" bed, check the dimensions. Most are the 60x72" RV queen, not the 60x80 true queen. Regular sheets can be made to work but won't quite fit correctly, or you can get sheets from AB lifestyles that are the right size.

We buy the standard queen fitter sheet and use "garter" style "keepers" to keep tight on mattress. Top sheet is King... This way we have plenty of top sheet to share. No "specialty" linens.

We use a regular queen fitted bottom sheet, with elastic straps on all 4 corners, under a standard flat sheet for cover.

Google "Mainstays Sheet Straps" at Walmart for the elastic straps.

I am going to check out the AB lifestyle sheet sets for my 1976 31' Sovereign rear twins. I am tried of wrestling with these 2 mattress trying to put sheets on. The fitted sheet with the curved end section at rear sounds good. I will measure to make sure the 34" by 78" sheet matches what I have.

Even the fitted sheets can be a bear to make up. I use the clips and straps to keep them on.

AB Lifestyles - Everything for Airstream... less expensive than the AS Store and very good. We've used their stuff in our 20 and 25 and have been very pleased with the quality and fit of their linens. They fit the curves in the AS mattresses perfectly.

We also have the AB Lifestyle sheets. I don't know how they compare to others, as it is all we have ever owned...

We are year round flannel sheets users and in general will shrink up a bit general, so this works well for us on our AS Queen bed.

I am sitting in bed now on the AB Lifestyles sheets and blanket and can state they fit so well, do not pull out at the bottom, and feel so good. I can see no reason to buy anyone else's bed linens.

Happily, I sew. I started with a standard Queen mattress pad and pocketed the corners to fit the one curved edge (head end) and left the square corners to fit the other on a 60x75" mattress - 30 minutes max. I followed that with a set of regular, 400 thread count Queen sheets at BB&Beyond that had the full edge, elastic fitting bottom to cover the pad. Good to go!

Thanks for the responses! We ended up purchasing the AB Lifestyle sheets. They fit extremely well. Not quite as smooth / soft as we would like, but we are quite happy. Plus, the customer service was great. Our first trip in our new Airstream was a huge success, and thanks to all of you, it was very comfortable!

I am looking at the twin size sheets, blankets and waterproof mattress pads from AB. Checked the AS store and they are quite pricey. Any comments?

One more recommendation for AB lifestyle sheets. Sheets fit perfectly.
