Airstream storage

WE are waiting for our 2022 AS Globetrotter. We are thinking about how to outfit kitchen. Does anyone have recommendations on storage containers and racks to use in the AS?

Consider waiting until your trailer arrives and you have used it before buying containers. This way you can try out what to put where and what you need.

The wife loves storage containers. (Such as Vtopmart from Amazon. Get a variety of sizes.) You'll find what you like. No need to buy all ahead of time, as mentioned above.
Downside is that they tumble out when opening the door for the first time after parking. Look for tension bars to fit the width of the cabinets.
Happy camping!

My wife just bought small plastic containers with sealable tops to store things in. You just want them to be moisture and mouse proof. You can’t get big containers. I agree about not buying anything until your unit comes. That way you can kind of figure out exactly what is needed. And even then I would do a shake down trip or two to get a feel for how things work. We have sliding doors so it was a bit easier not having to worry about things falling out of the cabinets.

There are also containers that actually squash down.

One thing you will want to do is use space wisely. We bought a foot stool that also functions for storing food stuff in.

I don’t remember which YouTube video it was but one of the regular Airstreamers had a great video with an organizer re-working their trailer storage. Great ideas from the container store. I can look back thru my history tomorrow.

I believe it is a video on YouTube by wanderlocal. They have a late model Classic and has a professional organizer come in and clean up their act. Shows you what is possible.
